Tips and Tricks for Camdles

Today, we’re going to cover a few ways you can maximize and prolong your Camdle experience. These tips and tricks are a general rule of thumb for any candle you may use.

  1. Be sure the wick of your Camdle is cut to a 1/4in length. Any excess can cause a larger flame than necessary and can pose a serious fire hazard.
  2. Each time you light your Camdle, be sure you keep it lit long enough for the top surface of the wax to melt all the way to where it meets the tin. This is crucial when lighting for the first time to prevent tunneling of the Camdle.
  3. Only light your Camdle for 1-2 hours at a time. Any longer than 3 hours carbon will begin to stick to the wick and cause it to mushroom. Which then leads to an unstable flame.
  4. Trim the wick to a 1/4in after each use if necessary to provide optimal throw of the Camdle.
  5. Blended Coconut Soy wax tends to solidify unevenly at times after being liquified. While it may look odd compared to other waxes, we assure you that this process is normal due to the low melting point of the blended wax.
  6. Single wick candles will provide optimal throw in relatively smaller areas such bathroom, bedrooms and such. While multiple wicked candles given the diameter of the opening will provide optimal throw in much larger rooms and open concepts.

We hope you find these tips and tricks useful. Be sure safety is the highest priority when burning any candle.
